Ansel had a fine photograph of a Jeffrey Pine tree on top of Sentinel Dome in Yosemite National Park, taken in 1940 (when I was 1 year old).I was there in 1971, and the tree was still thriving, but by 1991 it was dead. Here are my views of it.

I really like the 1st and 3rd images a lot. The dead baby tree in the still water is for some reason calming.
