It's not bad at all, far from it. I like the quality of the light  and also the convergence of the tree tops. Dead leaves and blue sky both contribute to produce a good photo,

Very nice indeed.  You had excellent conditions and you took advantage of them perfectly.  The fog at left bg is a gift.

I like it - agree about the light, fog etc.  Is that taken in that oak forest just above Ramscombe?

You know, I just can't get it to look right in B&W. And I usually process my landscapes as B&W, but I simply can't get this to look right.

Thanks for the positive comments folks. It was the first clearish day after several of low cloud & hoar frost. Woke up to an obvious cloud inversion, so grabbed camera bag & headed off. Nobody else around, had the place to myself, & the most wonderful light. Almost impossible to take a bad photo (though I manged three or four).
