Ouch.  After installing the driver, the printer is gone from my printer list and I can't seem to add (+) it.  It says the driver is not available from Apple and to check with the manufacturer.  I tried to reinstall the driver again, but still no success.

Anyone else have this problem, and more importantly, figure out how to fix it?


EDIT:  I couldn't figure it out, so I rolled back the driver and everything works fine.

Does anyone know if there will be a new driver for the Epson Stylus Photo 2100? I think they only marked the 2100 in Europe.

I now wish I hadn't downloaded and installed it. Completely messed up the 'Print' function in both Photoshop and Lightroom - no Print Settings. Had to uninstall it and re-install the driver that came with the printer.

Avoid at all costs!

Just wondering if the driver problem is the fact this is from a U.S. site and I see you are in the UK?

I have the Epson 3880 and live in the U.S. but have not yet downloaded this update.
Now I am wondering if anyone in the U.S. has had any problems?

I have tried Mac driver version 6.60 for the 3880 on 10.5.8 without problems, printing from CS4.

I just installed the new 3880 driver on my MacPro 8-core running SL 10.6.2. I printed a few prints to different Epson papers using Epson's profiles with no problems at all.

I just uploaded the new driver--without reading the rest of the comments.
Thus, with great anxiety, I tried printing a file from Lightroom.

Success!

It seems that there is no better driver for the Stylus Pro2100

Today I finally installed the newer 3880 driver 6.60 with no problems.
However I now notice in the drop down menu under print settings PRINT MODE instead of having Color option it now has AccuPhoto HD2.

I had thought something had gone wrong with the print setting menu until I found this:
