Any way to copy setting from another folder & apply to current folder

Never needed this but I have 1 old catalog  & I want to copy some file settings & apply to the new catalog file.
Is there a way to copy setting from another catalog/folder & paste it to current.

I know I can make a preset, but I need many different file settings so copy>paste will be ideal.
Any way out?

Isn't the best to make only one catalog?
Otherwise, go with (temporary) presets.
