Is there any workaround to the weird behavior of the printerīs driver that prevents you from creating a document size with the legth shorter than the width? Sure i can tell the driver to "turn 90 degrees", but I have to try and cancel 2 or 3 times before getting it right.
When using the PCL3 driver for the Z3100 and Z3200-PS I do not have the problem. The driver warns that the length is shorter than the width and I give the OK despite that and then change the mode from portrait to landscape and it will print accordingly. I never use HP preview. Print from Qimage on a Vista machine.
There has been an older PCL3 driver for the Z3100 that didn't have the warning and worked alright too. Why they changed that, I don't know.
The PS3 driver for the Z3200-PS shows the problem too and more severe. One of the reasons I switched to the PCL3 driver for the Z3200.
