Sony GPS-CS1 Geotag your images
« on: November 20, 2009, 12:29:11 am »

Great little GPS for geotagging your images

I am in Australia, the unit is currently listed on ebay (Australia) I want at least $70.00 (AU)
If you are interested please email me on steve@signsplus.com.au

Purchased about 2 years ago and is in perfect working order. I now have a Garmin GPS that I use so no longer have need for this unit.

Here is a link to a review so you can read up on its features. http://www.sat.dundee.ac.uk/arb/gpscs1/

There is a lot of free geotagging software on the net that will work with this unit as it produces standard GPS files.

I would recommend GeoSetter software to geotag your images, its free and available here http://www.geosetter.de/en/ a brilliant piece of software that works with almost all files including Canon RAW.

I did use Breeze Systems Downloader Pro, unit comes with Sony software. There are numerous free geotagging software programs available on the net like Atom GPS, Gpicsync, etc.

Product Features
