Silver Rag lint problem
« on: November 19, 2009, 09:26:58 pm »

Hey Everyone,

I am curious if other users of Museo Silver Rag notice pieces of random lint embedded in the coating. It seems that I notice it quite a bit... especially when it lands in a border or a highlight. I am usually able to gently dig it out with an exacto... but thought I would ask others how they deal with it.

Personally ,no. Silver Rag is usually free from defects, although I has one batch with uneven coating. I suggest you complain and ask for a replacement. You would need to supply evidence.
Cheers,
Brian

Thanks Brian...

I have an 8.5x11 box (my first time using SR) that seemed as though every other sheet had some lint in it.

Regardless of this, I just purchased a roll of it last week and while it appears to be much cleaner, I just noticed a fat piece of lint in the border of one of the prints I made last night. Hopefully, these will be isolated incidents.
