yaya, Thierry, the files are nicely sitting inside that folder in application support and inside the folder bearing the back's serial.

Other possibilities:

- may be the files are corrupted
- do a new CLEAN installation
- drop the Eyelike preferences

I think I remember how I fixed it now - try altering the ownership and permissions of the actual ccd ref files. Highlight them one by one and command-I them. Then check that admin, and everyone has read and write privileges. Or maybe check that the 'Locked' box in the general tab isn't ticked in that same info window that comes up when pressing command-I.

When I had to install the reference files for the M11, I was told to first burn them to a CD, enclosing them in a folder called ccd.dat.
Does your CD have the files in that specific folder? But before doing that, you might want to erase all traces of the previous installations.

Have done clean install, restored CCD files and altered permissions. Software works fine now but can't press shutter of H2( H1 upgrade) Maybe the contacts are wrong and do i have to try it with a H1.
Thanks everyone for the input!!!!!!!! First time since a very long time something did not evolve into a DSLR vs MF digital contest.

Good to hear Raf. For a lot of the work you do, this will produce rewarding files.

Thanks Steve. I wonder how the files will be in comparison to mu H3dMS and 528 files. But for the time being, the camera still displays "capture not possible. Check magazine"

Raf,

If you have an H adapter for your view camera(s), you could check it out that way and see if the back works properly?

Make sure you select "Hasselblad H1" in the preference:

OK, swapped trhe H2 for a H1 and i can press the button....... but no capture. Are there some cables between the back and the H1 needed ( there are already a lot of e-contacts between back and body) ?????

On the bottem of the back there are 4 connections. 1: pc flash sync 2: a strange somewhat bigger flash sync like one 3: a 5pind connector and 4: the fire wire connection.
I never had that much problems installing any back, not even a Volare or "brick" took that much effort.......

I must admit that I never "saw" somebody having so much problems, Raf!

Well, you should have included in the back kit a x-sync cable, which connects body/lens with the back. I can't figure out anymore how the socket on the back side looks like, but it must be 1 or 2

Best regards,
Thierry

Yep Yaya that was the first thing i did when software ran properly....
Me neither Thierry. I have had almost all back's, from phase to betterlight and from imacon to sinar, leaf, dicomed...... but none of them where so difficult to install. I only have a normal male-male sync cord but that doesn't do the job. Must be something else.....

another thought: has the H1 the right firmware? I remember that I used to have an old firmware on a H1 which didn't work with the Sinarback I wanted to connect.
