Yes! Very appealing.
It's an interesting shot, but it doesn't quite work for me. I think you darkened your fingers way too much. I understand what you were going for visually, but they're much darker than the rest of your hand. That would be OK if that part of your hand were in shadow, but the lightness of your daughter's hand shows that this is not the case. That creates a visual disconnect. The overall effect is to make it appear as though your fingers are suffering from some kind of weird medical condition.

The thing is that I did not darken the fingers more than I did with the rest of the hand; but now that you have pointed it out, I must agree that it looks weird. So here is the second version, with the fingers corrected so they match the tone of the rest of the hand. Thanks.
It's definitely an improvement. The tip of your index finger (the one your daughter is holding) still looks off to me. From what you said, I guess the culprit really is the lighting, so I'm not sure how much you'll be able to fix it. But it's such a great shot I'd say it's worth playing with.
