Facing the Wall

Ok... I'm intrigued...
First, I like the image/composition and detail.
Second, this is among the first "real" images I've seen from the long-awaited X1.
While I'm not one to get excited by new gear, I've got to say that I am very curious about this offering from Leica. It has been a long time since I shot my former M3 and CL... the digital addiction bit me early. With that said, I've been looking for a portable street camera for my international excursions. With trips to Kenya and Costa Rica planned for 2010, I'd love to have a high quality p&s for the market place and villages.

I look forward to your preview/review... I want to know... does the camera and its lens have that "Leica thing" about it.

cheers,
bruce
