« on: October 24, 2009, 07:24:47 am »

Hi , its my first printing after installing snow leopard , and I found in aperture print dialog  , I used to go to printer setup and in there I had color management and could chose colorsync , its not there any more ! and it was the one that worked great for me .

Anybody had this problem ?,  and how did you solve it

James,
Did you update your printer drivers? I'm not familiar with Aperture but if you're using an Epson printer then read this article: http://macperformanceguide.com/SnowLeopard-Printing.html
I guess that Canon and HP also have new drivers for Snow Leopard.

Hi francois ,

Yes , everything updated . and colorsync isn't there any more . I even reinstalled Aperture .

I'm trying LR3 , and must say I'm quite happy , and prints perfect too

Hi , I found snow L downloaded driver and profile from USA web thats  Epson ... R280 r290 , and in EU web I found its different its for Epson ..R285 R290 , As I have  R285 I downloaded that one , so color seem to be ok again , Colorsync isn't there either but I think ist doing it as default when you choose no color correction in printer .

something strange too , is that before if you selected or not  black p comp. in the aperture dialog box , you would see how it would get darker or not on preview , but now it changes color totally

The thing now is that it doesn't print A4 borderlees ,

Has anyone have this problem too?

Thanks

Cheers

James
