Anyone know how accurate the ink counter on Epson printers is? I have a 7800. I use the counter to calculate costs when I print for other people (non profit)..

Based on several reports, ink usage is ~2-2.5ml per square foot. Assuming you are paying ~$.37/ml, your cost for ink is $.74-93/sq. ft. of print. I generally advise my customers to use $1.00/sq. ft. and you are safe. This leaves room for cleanings, mistakes, PK/MK switches, proofs, etc.
