Good luck with your sale!

Hi Eric, as i understand you have a multishot at the time?????? An Imacon back easely fits the Linhof. It is really the best TC you can buy. Don't go for other contraptions ( only the P3 is as sturdy) that are less precise and were actually intended for film use.......

Yes Raf that's correct, I bought a 528c recently.  The multishot and microstep images are quite impressive!  Currently I'm going to use my X-Act2 with my Rollei 150mm apo macro and enlarger lenses in the shutter adapter until I have more funds to consider something like your linhof.    Actually you have some ixpress multishot backs for sale too right?  Somebody could really set themselves up with the ultimate kit in one go by buying one of those together from you.  Best of luck with your sale!

Hi Eric, i think most people are only impressed by multimegapixel and not absolute usuable image quality. Hope to sel one but i don't think this is the place to sell them. There must be some fora with more professional, reproduction, industrial and advertising shooters. i also have that Eyelike precision 22 Mp back, also multishot and microstep for less than 2500 euro.... but no reaction. So i think there are not that many people over here going for that high image quality, maybe because many of them do fashion and landscape.
Best to you to, Raf

Raf,
What made me hesitate on the 528c was concern that it would be too difficult in practice to use the microstep due to vibration etc.  But when I was just testing the back, I did a multishot with the camera (Rollei 6008AF) just sitting on my desk - not even on a tripod or anything - just loose.  It worked great and that immediately took away my fear that it would be too challenging to use in practice.    I was doing 5sec per exposure microstep shots in my dark Victorian house right away.   Looks like the multishot improves DR and noise as well?   Anyhow the improvement in image quality is very noticeable even with just the multishot.

just put one on a tripod an try to make it wiggle. i have had the rollei, not bad but from a totally other sort of craftmanship. The Linhof is rock solid but so very smooth in operation. I never had a camera that nicely built for digitall as the linhof 679cc ( i had the latest Arca, the rollei and still have the Sinar) But now i am doing 8/10 inch again and that fits the Sinar but won't fit on the Linhof.
