Taken last week on the shores of Loch Faskally, Perthshire, Scotland. It will probably be another week or two before the colours are at their best?

The quality of light is amazing, like a rainbow light coming through. I find the crop too tight rendering the mountain too central; it cuts off the sweep and line of the mountain on the right side, where the slope practically begs for more exposure. I guess one could have gone to the left also, but the right is more suggestive in this crop.

Thanks for the feedback. I have other images taken in a wider view that I will look at.

I see very few landscapes that I do not think would be improved by cropping/using a longer lens... I did not immediately think so with this, but you could try a longer lens and a vertical format - I do like vertical landscapes.

Another image taken at around the same time.

I am not sure if including the house is beneficial to the image, hence the reason for the original image being a tighter crop?

I prefer number 2; the sky is better, the autumn colours show better because there are more trees, and the house plus the wider angle give a better sense of scale.

I agree with Ed.  Both are good, but the wider view of the second image is much better.  Looks like a beautiful place!
