Capture One problem.
« on: October 06, 2009, 10:21:35 am »

Im using Capture One on my MBP and keeping on getting this problem. Im running 4.8.3 DB version (not Pro) on a 2.4ghz dual core with 2 gigs of RAM.

Its becoming very frustrating. Any advice would be appreciated.

You may have better luck by posting in this thread;

http://luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?showforum=44

or at PhaseOne's forum;

http://forum.phaseone.com/En/

Have you dumped your phaseone prefs and emptied your batch history queue?

I'm running 4.8.3 Pro on the same hardware, never seen this.

...or try mentioning Hasselblad in the thread title.

Then the Phase personalities will be all over it     :>))

I've seen fancy artefacts in Capture One due to corrupt monitor profile (actually only the naming convention was a problem) and on Windows after the installation of AdobeCMM.
I've not seen artefacts like yours (but similar) but maybe you could check the monitor profile (just as a test set sRGB or AppleRGB as monitor profile and see if it works).
You can also try to set the destination profile as proof profile... just to check if there is something wrong with the CM.

Hi

Could be a bug in Capture One or your graphics card. Go via their forum or support that is usually better than here.
I run 4.8.3 on my 2.4GHz Quad using 32 bit Windows Xp fairly stable, sometimes with some strange crashes though.
LightRoom and Phocus runs perfect.

Good luck!

The only thing I can think of is that you have multi-view selected instead for single view and somehow the program is glitching displaying only one image in multi-view.
