Phocus does have a similar look and feel of Lightroom and Aperture and is quite intuitive and easy to use. Does it have DAM capabilities? Yes in the fact that you can move and/or copy files to any location via the browser, you can drag and drop thumbnails in the browser and tag them green, yellow or green (IAA), You can hide images, as an example just show your green tags or green and yellow tags, you can remove any individual or all badges on the images (Crop, Name, Approval, Badges).

I have been trying to filter and sort dozens of photos of a young ballerina, to accompany her application for admission to ballet school...
I want to sort the pictures by pose, so I can then pick the best picture for each pose.
I would like phocus to enable me to keyword pictures and them sort and filter on those keywords, so, if I take 1,000 speculative pictures, I could keyword them without processing them or saving them in several file formats, and be able to retrieve them (filter) by keyword when needed.
It seems that to sort my ballerina pictures I will have to create a file name with the pose number at the beginning of the file name - ¿any other way of doing it?
