Pentax 645D on again!

Photorumors.com just reported that Pentax will release the 645D sometime in 2010.  Glad to hear that
the project is alive and kicking. The pentax 645 was always my favorite field camera.  As medium
format cameras go, it's very small and light.  Easy to carry in a backpack all day.  Best of all, it has
some unusual and useful zooms, such as 35-55, 150-300 among others (45-85, 55-110, 80-160).
It's going to be interesting to see how they market this thing.  Glad I kept my lenses.

There was a mockup of that camera in March here in Tokyo. Supposedly 30MP and compatible with existing 645 pentax lenses.  This could be interesting as they still have a lot of 645N kit in the shops and actually it gets more counter space than Mamiya....
