Just thinking out loud,
I got into MFDBs some years ago (2005?) , 16bit, nice files Raw Decent flash synch, things that were missing of DSLRs of the generation
DSLRs do all of that now (apart from the flashsynch)
MFDBs kind of lost their USP and their way
Now Im moving into 'motion' once again the DSLR manufacturers are rolling out flawed systems with piles of pointless features, in camera looks et al but kind of missing the basic: 24 raw images per second and a decent monitor
Surely Phase or suchlike should create a motion back
24FPS, RAW capture
Id even be happy shooting motion tethered to a a brick like the old digibacks
If the back had enough control the body would only need to be a 'lens spacer' like ALPA
Heck they could even make a back for a 16mm movie cam !
Thoughts ?
