a quick google search for specs brings up the epson site with this information.

BorderFree® Printing
Left and right borderless “bleed” printing for the following
roll media widths:
SP7900 10", 13", 16", 17", 24"
SP9900 10", 13", 16", 17", 24", 36", 44"
Top and bottom edges can be automatically cut to any
length when printing on roll media.

looks like no borderless on sheets.

Printing a borderless 16x20 from a 16 inch roll works fine on the 7900. You have to take particular care in how select your print setup options in the epson printing preferences window.   If you don't want to lose a 3-4" strip of paper each time you print borderless you will also need to change your margin in the printer menu from "default" to "3mm".   IIR, an 8x10 sheet of paper is too small to feed in the 7900/9900, but I have not tried it to confirm that.   I've printed an 11x14 on a 13x19 sheet of paper. I centered the 11x14 in a 13x19 canvas via CS4, then told the 7900 to print it borderless and centered.  The image was exactly where I wanted it to be on the paper. It might have been a fluke since I had a white border on the print. I've not had a reason to test that again. I've also fed printed a 16x20 on a sheet of 17x22 paper with out any problems. At some point I'll try borderless printing on a 17x22 sheet of paper as I've learned that what epson says you can do and what can really be done are often quite different.

I'd recommend you look through the menus on your printer and the epson printer software menus, change settings around and see how they affect other menu settings. Experience with the menus will help. As an example, the page layout tab affects your settings on the main tab of the printing preferences. There are also some options that are not visible unless you have another option selected.
