Folks,

I updated my 2.4 GHZ macbook pro from 10.5.8 to 10.6 and then I went to the NEC USA site and updated my version of Spectraview II to 1.1.03. I re-calibrated my NEC MultiSync 2690WUXI 26" with my Eye1 Display 2 and the monitor looks a tad flat, the blacks aren't that punchy and the contrast seems flat. My calibration settings are 6500K gamma 2.2 140 lumens on both OS versions. Anyone else noticing this? I know that the old mac OS was 1.8 and now 2.2 and shouldn't make a difference...maybe it does?

Gamma 2.2 calibrated display should be rather more punchy than 1.8 one.
Enter "Tools>Information Window" and check "Contrast Ratio" and "Calibrated Black Level Intensity". What calibration priority did you choose in preferences?

The calibration Priority is set to default, "Maximize Contrast Ratio"

"Contrast Ratio" is 501:8

I think your problem is caused by "Auto Luminance" function - turn it off, it should never be used in color critical applications!

Apart from that, everything seems to be fine.
