Strong Posterization Issue
« on: September 03, 2009, 12:56:15 pm »

Hi to all,

Recently I wanted to darken a sky using the brush tool and lighten a foreground in some pictures.

But the result is a strong posterization in some areas.

See Complete Post in Lightroom Q&A

Have a Nice Day.

Who in the world has time to start searching in "Lightroom Q&A" for your post? This is a bit presumptuous. If you are looking for help, make it easy for us. Give us a complete description of the settings you are using and the moves you have made to produce this situation. Tell us what kind of image it is from which camera, etc. etc. etc. To make your own life easy, since you prefer to minimize effort here, you CAN do a copy paste of the information you provided in LR Q&A to here.

At least have the decency to make the "see post" a hyperlink...

OK. caught it - his original post with a couple of images is several Forums up the menu on this website in the L-L Lightroom Q&A. Doesn't have much more contextual info, but Jeff seems to have understood what went wrong and responded. I'll unsubscribe from this thread.
