Qimage question
« on: September 01, 2009, 10:09:10 am »

Has anyone used Qimage to print 3 images across on a 24” roll? Is there a template or tutorial for doing this?

TIA

QImage does come with tutorials but I've never looked at them so I can't say for sure if this scenario is covered. What you want to do is not only achievable but quite easy though. Set up a custom page size in the printer setup dialog that is big enough to contain all three prints. Then in QImage layout, choose the desired print size, and just add the images to the layout and it will arrange them to fit automatically.

This was entirely cool! After setting the page size all I had to do was to hit the Ins key a couple of times and then click on print. Qimage adjusted the image placements and the mighty z3 started to squirt out the results a moment later.

Thanks also for the link to the forum
