Up for sale is my Canon EF 300mm f/4 L (non-IS) lens plus accessories.
Included in the sale is the lens, a B+W UV filter which has always been on the lens, both Canon lenscaps, an Arca Swiss style tripod mounting plate (Kirk brand), a Lowepro padded lens case, and the original Canon hard lens case and box. The cost of the accessories was significant, but I figured it would be more useful as a kit rather than trying to sell things separately.
The lens is in excellent condition, no real signs of use, very clean. The glass and coatings are also very clean. Functionally the lens is perfect, fast, accurate autofocus, very sharp results even wide open. This lens is actually sharper than the IS version of the lens.
I'm selling because I primarily do people photography (no sports/wildlife) and the lens is a little long for what I want to do. I'm going to make do with my 70-200 and use the 1.4x if I'm in a pinch, though the combo is nowhere near as sharp as the 300 alone.
