Comments? Looking at the left-hand edge, I wonder if it could do with losing a bit off the bottom, but I'm loath to crop off the rocks on the lower right.

I've tried to crop the rock at the bottom right but found that the image is not as pleasing. In my opinion, it gives  more depth and dimension to your photo.

I agree with Francois.  It adds some balance to the composition.

I agree also.  I wouldn't cut it.

It is beautiful. I am drawn in by the amount of strong contrast in short distances.
The halo above the ridge, particularly in the upper left, is undesirable to me. You could paint in a strip of negative clarity, if you are using lightroom. Just a suggestion.

Looks like the screes along the Illgill Head side of Wastwater. The rocks go some way towards providing some foreground interest. Keep them.

Spot on, both of you! Each time I go to the Lakes, I wonder why I don't spend more of my life there.

Yes, that's a fair point. It's actually a bit less noticeable in the full shot, which is just under 42 megapixels (a 3-image stitch). I'll play with it a bit more.
