I recently printed a 15x30 image with a resolution of 360dpi on my newish HP Z3200 via my newish Photoshop CS4. Yikes! The printed image was 15x30 but was composed of image stripes and white stripes. The image content is all there but is distorted/squished, e.g. the petroglyph circle becomes an oval.

Striping (which is perpendicular to head travel) occurs at an image resolution of 360dpi, but not at resolutions of 300dpi or 600dpi.
The problem is repeatable and occurs with other images at 360dpi (but not all images).
I can't associate image size with the error, e.g. I cropped a small slice out of the 15x30 image and the error occurred but with a different stripe dimension.
Printing via CS2 is without problems.
I suspect this may be the same problem Steve H. posted on June 21st (Stripes when printing 1200dpi on z3100) which seemed unresolved.
For reference, I'm using Windows XP on a 4GB Dell.
I will ask Adobe and HP, but I figure that the real wisdom for this problem might be with LL forum members. Thanks in advance.
