2 x 9? I like 'em both. I see you moved the framing up a bit for the night shot. Wish I knew how to previsualize panoramic framing a little better, I never know how much weight to give those night time skies until I can actually "see" them in post processing.
Should be fine at 2x9 feet indeed.
Thanks for the nice words, I guess that the choice of crop was relatively easy here because of the cloud features and darkness of the foreground. The later it gets, the more detail you lose in the city part and since the sky was pretty exciting...
I do in fact have another crop of the darker image shot a bit later with more focus on the lower part. It works OK as well.
My current intend it to keep the exact same crop for the 2 images and to combine them into a day/night 2 images piece on top of each other so as to get a more square frame for a large wall.
