I am after a copy of either the UDPS or Similar tool to allow me to print above the 37.4" mark on my Epson Pro 3880

Sorry to have to tell you this, but UDPS doesn't work with the 3880. Your only option is a RIP. You can take a look at PrintFab - still in beta for Windows, but free at the moment. If you're on a Mac you have to pay for it!

Do you know if it will stop the roll paper feeding continuously or do i need to cut from the roll?

Not sure, but my guess is that you would need to cut the paper/canvas from the roll. I've found it pretty easy with canvas, but paper is a bit more tricky. If you do cut from a roll take care to cut square otherwise you will have feed problems.

If you only want to print B&W you might like to look at QuadToneRIP. I've used it on my 3800 for B&W panos up to 1.8m long.
