I cannot for the life of me find anyone who sells an arm with clamps, ect where you can mount a camera and a 17 inch mac laptop on a Gitzo Tripod and RRS ball head.
Seems the 17 inch is a problem size wise.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Not sure if the 17-inch will fit on this:
Gitzo Monitor platform
and then there is this:
Manfrotto 131DD Tripod Accessory Arm
I have seen this in use with a laptop on the above platform, and then the camera at the other end.

The
Manfrotto Arm
works well but you can see a lot of different options at
Tether Tools
. I bought some stuff recently from them based on a discussion happening in another forum on topic. Really well built and sturdy.
