Multiple hard drives problem
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:34:26 am »

I have 8 harddrives in a macPro, 4 internal and 4 in an external esata enclosure. It would seem that these drives are all parked when the computer is on as there is a few second lag when I try to access any drive. This becomes a problem when I try to do a search and the machine only ends up searching whatever drive it is using at the time. I realize that parking the drives has benefits but also creates a problem for me. Is there a way to access all drives for searching? Peter
