Aptus 22 on Mamiya AFD with Leaf Capture 11.2.4

I just got a refurbished Aptus 22 and a Mamiya AFD and am trying the latest Leaf Capture 11.2.4.
Was previous a Hasselblad V user, just trying out Mamiya now.
I realized that the remote shooting button on the software is disabled on the Leaf Capture screen.
Does that mean that the Mamiya AFD does not support remote shooting?
anyone out there with the same setup can shed some light?

i can trigger my RZ II /Aptus22 via firewire from my mac in LC11.xx.
an additonal cable from the back to the cameras electrical remote release contact is needed.
it should be the same for the AFD, if it has that RZ style contact.

i agree, that feature is usually not too useful with the RZ.
too bad if the AFD has another contact and no fitting cable.

i am using the leaf adapter RZ/Hasselblad H with the x-cable, it works well.
