My attempt at a 1950's style pinup - recently described by a competition judge as "totally revolting"!

That judge was absolutely right: can´t see any detail in the background at all.

This is a JOKE so don´t take any of it seriously! Nice shot and lovely girl; I envy you your friends. The hell with the background.

It definitely has a "best of Kodak" look to it. Like a good Cibachrome print. Oops. Can we fake those now too?

Ditto Robs comment on the girl....helps reduce the distraction of the bright coloured flags in the background. Perhaps some selective desaturation would be in order....nevertheless, I still like it.

Love 'er! Great nostalgia. Girls, like her, were the lust of my life growing up in trhe 40s and 50s.

I would take "revolting" as a compliment for a shot like this.
Only where her feet stand on the boulder the montage gets a bit messy, but for the rest put together nicely.

I think that's waay out of line.
I think this is not a bad comp at all, only major problem I see is that some masking around the feet as already mentioned plus attention to focus as the mooring she is standing on is much softer than her feet!
Nice effort.
