Terrific list! If we all follow all 78 rules, we don't need the critique section any more.

I've solved the problem of rule #45 by putting a label across my lens that says "Don't look here; this is the lens."

I still have problems with #54, however.

Very funny, but some hit close to home. I once did an office portrait where the fish hanging on the wall was centered right behind the person's head. Yep, I did it. Film days, difficult to clone out.

By Christmas, most Japanese camera companies will offer a new SmartSuperPlusUltra ™ shooting mode that will follow all the 78 rules. On the higher end, you'll be able to disable some of the rules…

Of those 78 rules, I get about 75 of them wrong 99% of the time. And most of the time I do it on purpose.

One of the funniest things to me was the fact that so many of the comments took the "rules" seriously! Hard to believe.
