The vignetting wasn't deliberate, but a result of the exposure blending of three frames.

The weird 'squiggle' on the center horizon above the tree line is a gap in the clouds.  Very weird.

Very nice.  Love to colors.  The squiggle looks like an omega shaped contrail.  Sometimes mother nature has a mind of her own.

It looks great, more like a painting. It has A light surreal glow, which is very nice, as opposed to the super saturated images one often sees. Maybe, if you don't like the squiggle, why not clone it out.

Good stuff.  I personally think the vignetting actually helps the image - it gives it a centre.  Also, this is one of those cases where centring the horizon actually works.

Very nice, overall.

The processing gives it something, but apart from this it says nothing to me. For example the tracks in the corn are somehow disturbing. I would have focused more on a smaller area, and left out large portions of the foreground. But if you only wanted to make a testblend, it is a success.

For me, it does work.

1)  I like the vignetting.  In fact, I might add some to the bottom right of the shot.  It actually does more than just frame the sunset- it shapes it.

2)  The horizon deserves a second look by the viewer: at first glance, I saw center positioning, defining a mirror: the oblique lines in the sky reflect those of the cut grain.  But when I started to look a bit more, I realized that the vignetting of the sunset in effect pushes the top of the image down, creating a 1/3, 2/3 relationship- very sophisticated.

3)  Leave the omega- I'm sure there's a metaphor in there somewhere
