I will be in the Western Wyoming (eastern Yellowstone) in mid July and looking for landscapes, unique areas or things to do while I am in that area. Any recommendations?

Given good light, the Beartooth highway from NE yellowstone on up to Red Lodge, MT can be really wonderful.

Spend a few days in the Jackson area: Tetons, the lakes, Snake River Canyon, Teton Pass, etc.  Mid-July is peak tourist season in Western WY. so a lot of people and expensive lodging.
