ps Rainer - I love how in this picture (6th one down, green pipes) you are on the NO STEP very top of the ladder, and one of of the lock bars is not even down.
please take care!
or at least take care of that expensive camera...
This is a classic illustration of the advantages of live-view for remote operation of the camera. Unfortunately Hasselblad have not implemented live-view for my camera...
Why have you not insisted that your dealer take your H3D-50 back rather than banging your head against the wall?
This was discussed at length on a different forum...
I suggested Hasselblad might lend me a working (live view) camera in the mean time.
Hasselblad said that they Hoped live video would be implemented in phocus 1.2
Phocus 1.2 arrived without it, and apparently it is a firmware problem.
I have the option to upgrade to the 60 when available, and if that would give me live view, I would do it.
...but David Grover syas that they are working on it, and that he understands my frustration.

Please note that the the H3D11-50 is not technical/view camera compatible (without a sliding back) as Hasselblad have not yet made it Live view compatible.
Yes, thankyou Dick.
I understand your frustration but we are working hard to implement the feature. The Kodak 50MP chip is a new design which means accessing Live Video is completely different to the other Kodak sensors.
The original posters question was regarding the 22MP products.
Best,

I would like to have thought that Hasselblad and their suppliers were reputable...
When I was discussing the purchase with my supplier, I told the rep that I wanted the H3D to use the DCU on a view camera, and asked if he could supply the adaptors etc. He said I would need to talk to a view camera specialist... but he was fully aware that I wanted it for view camera work.
When I opened the box and found the note saying that they had not enabled live view, and phoned him... that was the first he had heard of it, but when I asked them to give me my money back, he said I was aware that it did not work when I ordered it.
When can I have a hi-res MFD view camera with live view?
