Paper Advance - Z3100

I have very recently had a problem with the paper not advancing properly from a roll.  The print looked like it was banding but I feel the printer was printing over itself.  I did a printhead check plus test print and everything looked fine.  I also performed a "recalibration of the Paper Advance" test print which looks OK (?) but I can't find any info on how to interpret this test print.  Can anyone lead me in the right direction.

I'm assuming you used the advanced diagnostics to print this.  If so, the results are detailed in the service manual in section 6 starting at page 14.  You can find out where to get the manual in the Z3100 wiki
