H1 Kit in Collingwood Cash Converters Stolen?
« on: June 10, 2009, 11:54:11 pm »

There's a Hasselblad H1 kit in nice condition at my local Cash Converters (Australian pawn shop chain) ... it seems cheap at AU$3300 (about US$2500).  The shop assistant thought it was a video camera.
It looks out of place amongst the cheap point and shoots.
I jotted down the numbers just in case someone has had there camera go "missing" .

Body: 70sp10991

Maybe stolen, maybe just a bargain!

and you didn't buy it!?!?
how much was it there for?

There is a pawn shop 3 buildings from me that I never go into.
a co-worker (who doesn't live near me) prowls it and found a mamiya 645 kit with a bunch of flashes, cables, tripods, etc...
it was like $600. he ended up selling the camera for $900 on craigslist and kept the bag of goodies which were worth about $600.  Since then I've gone a couple times into the shop and found nothing.

I wish I could find a mamiya rz67 or some other 6x7 camera in there.
