what do you do when you have a broken epson scanner and a canon fd-mount lens?you create a high resolution scan-back camera of course..at least this is what this  guy did. HERE is a link with details and a video of the camera in action also check out the dude's fickr pool..the results are pretty good http://www.flickr.com/photos/82772083@N00/

Not the quality of images he gets but with another aspect ratio:

A Xmas project several years ago, FD lens too :-)

I guess I miss the point other than a fun project.  Highres crappy quality images are still crappy.
