uninstall C1

Hey guys I'm away from base at the moment and cant test this uninstaller app I made. Would love some feedback. It just puts the files and folders in the trash so you'll need to empty trash. Need to test whether it works on systems with different user names. Only works on MAC running 10.5.x Cheers

Looking at it again I dont think it will work. Give it a go if it doesn't work nothing will happen and nothing will be in the trash. If it does the file will be in the trash but not deleted. I could do it with a shell script that deletes the files immediately but I thought thats was less desirable.

Hey Guys

Here is an app that uninstalls CaptureOne 4.x . Four items are deleted as recommended by phaseone before updating the app. these are ~/Library/Preferences/com.phaseone.captureone.plist , ~/Pictures/Capture One Library/Capture One.col45 , ~/Library/Application Support/Capture One , and Applications/Capture One.app.

WARNING: This app is provided free and without warranty. And as it works you may find that it does in fact delete your copy of CaptureOne

There are a number of uninstall software packages for the Mac:

Appcleaner
AppTrap
AppDelete
AppZapper
Hazel

I use Appcleaner coz it's no frills, nice interface, and it's quick and easy. Does the job and it's free.

Hey Doug, Do you see any problems with leaving the recipes in place or backed up on the desktop when uninstalling? I have a whole bunch (20 odd) recipes that I use for different clients or to separate into shot folders.
