Don't know what kind of flower it is, but it's different from the usual here in the NE U.S. This is growing wild, so it may not be a domestic breed.

It's called a lemon lily, a form of daylily. Originally from the Orient, IIRC, but it was one of the first daylilies to be introduced to North America.
