I upgraded to Windows 7 RC, and noticed that while the catalog in LR works fine, I've lost all my color labels. Where does LR save color labels, and how can I migrate them from my old OS?
This would be a major problem, since I'd have to go through thousands of shots to label drafts, masters, edits, etc. all over again.
Found them: they are saved in the preferences file, which is separate from the catalog and saved very inconveniently deep down in a system directory. Copied the old one from backup and now I have everything working again!
