If you have to tether your camera to a laptop and run some software on that laptop, that kind of takes away the 'remote' quality of the device.  I don't see that it has much use beyond a niche studio market.  It sounds more like a tethered camera PC remote control.

Am I missing the point, if it's tethered to a computer I can control it from the computer remotely, so why do I need to add in my iPhone to the system?
I thought it was going to be a remote trigger I could use say if I monuted the camera on a bike or car bonnet.
