The weakness of the PC auto bellows is the absence of optic with large enough image circle to accomodate its functions. In the case of the Contax 645 auto bellows, the system was discontinued too early in its existence and thus partially explains the Contax PC auto bellows' orphan. Up to date, the folks who own the valuable auto bellows, do not have the lens with big enough image circle to do perspect control. I decided to find a partial solution to the problem by envisioning the Rodenstock Apo Rodagon-D 120mm and other lens be mounted onto the PC auto bellows and also allow infinity focus a few years ago. This adapter allows any M39 mount thread lens be mounted in both normal and reversed mode to optimize the optic performance. The parts are all original OEM so the precision is at its highest. In addition, the adapter is also designed to take the Mamiya PC auto bellows which is another orphan PC bellows.
