This pano head will do standard spherical panoramas as well as macro panoramas. Depending on the lens, it will do up to 8x macros, but 3x is the practical diffraction limit for my current lens on the 4/3rds sensor.  It will do lenticular images as well by shifting the unit sideways on the bottom slide and rotating towards the subject. Orthographic panos are created essentially the same except the head is not rotated for each frame.

Front tilts, swings, and shifts are only limited by the image circle.  Rear movements are severely limited by the mirror box.

Focus stacking can be done by moving the entire head on the bottom slide, moving the camera and lens together, or just moving the camera.  The latter allows the most control and focus stacked panoramas can be created with no parallax errors.

This head has gone through several iterations.  The first was just a simple spherical pano head: http://www.tawbaware.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=3508.  The second added more precise controls: http://www.tawbaware.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=4731

Here's a focus stacked macro:
