Just starting a topic to see which magazines people are reading.  Or maybe talk about some you have stopped reading.

I started subscribing to Aperture while Minor White was the editor, back in the '60s. I have, sadly, given up on it in recent years.

The one consistently excellent magazine is Lenswork. View Camera has some good stuff, but is rather spotty.

That's it for me.

I buy a copy of PhotoLife, a Canadian mag, whenever I can get it. I get a copy of Photographic Monthly (U.K.) a couple times a year. I bought all of the LensWork DVD's, mainly for the videos, which has been a disappointment. Scrolling through the stills on the DVD's is painful, although the material is quite good, and educational.

I've dropped all magazines except for Lenswork. I never look at the Lenswork extras or DVD or other stuff - just the magazine itself.

Kind regards,
Derek

I like Lenswork Extended.  I drag the audio files (interviews with the photographers) into iTunes and listen to them in car on the way back and forth to work.

Like the others, I subscribe only to Lenswork and Lenswork Extended.  Instead of magazines, I've subscribed to ReidReviews for the last 2 years.

Ag magazine is really quite good. No equipment reviews. Some talk about technique. Lots of focus on getting printed images, whether on the wall or in a Blurbish book. Some criticism of the current art scene. Articles about people working now, doing interesting and novel things. I like it because they're willing to say harsh things about work/trends/books they don't like. Its refreshing. Their website is: http://www.picture-box.com/

Its a UK magazine. I presume they'll ship all over.

I subscribed to View Camera because it used to be superb, even when I wasn't shooting LF. I think Steve has lost some of his energy, or possibly contributors. It feels a bit tired now.

I like Black and White Photography Magazine [http://www.thegmcgroup.com/item--Black-and-White-Photography--1003BW.html]. Occasionally interesting reviews [Fuji S5 anyone?]. Interviews with interesting photographers. Articles on interesting bodies of work. Tutorials on good B&W printing technique that covers both darkroom and digital.

Thanks for the replies.

I was planning to subscribe to Lenswork and went ahead with it after the response here.

Cheers,
Steve
