Welcome back, Jonathan, and congratulations on the new enterprise. Just don't expect much sleep for a while.

And good luck with the nagging medical issues.

Congrats.

Btw, things haven't changed so much around here. There are still multi-page debates about DOF every few months.

To crib a line from The Matrix, some things change, and some things stay the same. Some people need periodic reassurance that round is indeed the optimal shape for the wheel, rather than hexagonal or dodecagonal. And others didn't figure it out the first or third time the issue was debated...

Anyway, here's another gratuitously cute image of mom and baby...

Reason no.2 is a lifelong affliction I'm afraid!    But not one you want to do without.
Welcome back and hope you get medical stuff sorted. Shame real medics aren't always as gifted/committed as those portayed in say House or ER.

Jonathan,
It's normally polite to 'ooh' and 'aah' when people show off their new born babies. Congratulations! However, I fear this may be the demise of your photographic career. Your main concern should now be for the welfare of your new addition to the family. The camera doesn't matter. Right?
