Swallow from Northern Ohio

I couldn't find this exact bird in the Smithsonian handbook of North American birds, but it appears to be one of the swallows at least. Photographed yesterday with Panasonic ZS3, ISO80.  Cropped from 3776 pixels wide to 1536 wide, then reduced.

The brown bar across the upper chest is a little unusual, but it looks like a barn swallow.  If you could see the tail it would clinch it as the barn swallow is the only one with the long, scissor-like tail.
