HPZ3100: Lost profiles?
« on: May 03, 2009, 04:55:35 pm »

Having had my C drive expire prematurely, I now realize that with it went the icc profiles I had generated with the HPZ3100.  Looking through the Printer Utility as well as accessing the printer through its http address I can find nothing indicating whether my profiles reside on the printer's hard drive, and if they do, how to get them back to the computer.

Is there a way, besides spending more time, ink and paper on regenerating the profiles, to get them off the printer onto the computer again?

All those profiles should still be on the printer's hard drive. I had the same experience when my computer died, and was able to recover all the profiles simply by synchronizing the printer with the new computer once I had the driver and printer utilities up and running.
