Checking a 180 Rodenstock
« on: April 30, 2009, 05:51:08 pm »

Being new to Large Format, I just bought a 180 Rodenstock Sironar N, which is pristine (never used).
Not having the camera with me right now (I'm in California for a few days), I wished to check the lens.
May I, like for a MF lens, play a bit with the aperture ring to check the elements of the lens in front
of a light source, without damaging the shutter ?
