You can't use paper that small in it.

epson pro matte paper, Ilford gold fibre silk paper. all of these worked as letter sized papers not till I worked the ahmna warm tone did I run into a problem. Okay then how can I put 2 shots on one piece of 11 by 17 or a roll of 17 inch wide paper. PS Can I use 17 inch wide roll of paper. David

Let me clarify, and I may have misunderstood you to imply it worked fully before.  Profiling works on 8.5x11 - calibration requires more.  Yes you can use a 17" roll for either.

The calibration target is longer than it is wide and fits in the width of letter size. The width of letter size = 215 mm should be enough for sheet loading, the length (portrait mode) may be the problem. Tape two sheets at the back of the short side so you have an oblong sheet. Or use just half a sheet at the top. With skew control off on sheet loading it will not even check the length so it may pass as a single sheet too. Which explains the different replies.
